Tattnall Soccer Banquet

The Tattnall boys soccer banquet will be held on Monday, December 14th. The banquet will be held on campus, with time & more info to follow.

I wanted to quickly update you on our status with the banquet. We are finalizing a date and will have that set by the end of this week. The banquet will be in December after thanksgiving and before exams begin.

We will let you know ASAP when everything is finalized.

Take Wheeler Road exit and turn left at light off of exit ramp. Continue on Wheeler Road, which eventually turns into Flowing Wells Road. Continue on Flowing Wells Road to school on left.

B-team Indoor Soccer Sign ups

At the b-team meeting today each player received a registration form to sign up to play on the Tattnall Indoor Soccer team which we are putting together for the winter indoor soccer league.

Parents will need to sign the waiver form, fill in their information on the team roster and attach a check for $75. Checks need to be made payable to 'Neal Weinberg'. Mr Weinberg will be collecting all forms and will send in the team roster along with the one check to Sportstowne to secure our spot (he will not deposit checks until all forms are collected and our place is secured in the league)

B-team Tournament Information - Saturday, October 10th

Below is the schedule for this weekends b-team tournament. The tournament is @ Mount De Sales and our first game is at 9:30am so players will need to be at MDS by 8:30am on Saturday.

B-team Indoor Soccer Opportunity

The Weinbergs’ Chandler Weinberg’s parents’, 8^th grader, #12 on B- team Neal and Dana, are organizing an indoor soccer team for all interested Tattnall Soccer players. The league will begin in December and go through February 2010. Practice will not b e required. The players will meet once or twice a week at the Christ Chapel Sportstowne Church on Bass Road. This will not be a Tattnall sponsored event, but an individual effort to build the soccer program and to keep our Tattnall players in condition throughout the year. We all concur to succeed in soccer, it is important to continue practicing skills post season and reinforce team relations and respect throughout the year. Max Rooke has supported the idea.

We are requesting that all interested team members validate their commitment by agreeing to participate by the deadline of October 20, 2009. We will need each team member to pay an entrance fee of $75.00. We will need at least ten players. This fee will include team membership and uniform.

Each team member’s effort will be appreciated.. This will not be a highly competitive or challenging team, but one by effort will improve and promote team cohesion, attitude and skills. Part of being a success of a team, is building school spirit and support of team members. With this goal in mind, we hope and encourage you to join us.

Alumni Soccer Game Success

Saturday, October 3rd saw the return of past Tattnall soccer players for the annual Alumni All-star soccer game between the current varsity boys team and past Tattnall soccer alumni. We had a very good turnout with 20 returning alumni. The day was capped with a chance for all to fellowship and reflect on memories of past with a cookout after the game. A special thank you to Tattnall Soccer Booster Club & everyone who helped put this event together.
