2009 Girls B-team Tournament - Saturday, May 2nd

The schedule has been announced for the girls b-team tournament on Saturday, May 2nd @ Mount De Sales sports complex. We will play FPD @ 9:30am on the practice field. Players need to be at the fields @ 8:30am. Pending the result of that game we will either play at 11:30am (3rd place game) or 1pm (Championship game).

1st Annual Middle Georgia Summer 6v6 Soccer Tournament

Below is some information regarding Macon soccer club holding a 6v6 tournament throughout the summer. This will be an excellent way for our teams to continue to play together to get some much needed experience. I plan to enter both a girls and a boys team into the tournament. Please let me know ASAP if you plan to play. Also any parent who is interested in coaching the team, please let me know.

great skill developer, requires fewer players to form a team and is a great way to have some fun

Location: Macon Soccer Complex –4510 Raley Road –Macon 31206.

Dates: June 2nd thru July 23th
Tuesday and Thursday nights –matches begin at 6:00pm
Season ending championship tournament –Thursday, July 23rd

Divisions: Boys Varsity - Recommended for experienced male high school varsity players
(Age 15 –18 as of July 30th, 2009)
Boys JV –Recommended for male middle school or JV players (ages 12 –14 as
of July 30th, 2009)
Girls Varsity –Recommended for experienced female high school varsity players
(Age 15 –18 as of July 30th, 2009)
Girls JV –Recommended for female middle school or JV players (ages 12 –14 as
of July 30th, 2009)
* If a player does not fall under the age brackets listed above but wants to participate, please
League Director.

Format: Two 25-minute halves, 60’ X 40’ outdoor fields.

Teams: Each team can have a maximum of 10 players on the roster. If a player doesn’t
have a team and wants to participate, please contact League Director for team
placement.

T-shirts: Each team will be provided with a distinctive 6v6 Color T-shirt

Entry Fee: $350 per team –due in full byWednesday, May 27th
We cannot guarantee your team a place in the league if entry fee is not paid by
May 27. No teams will be placed on the schedule or allowed to play unless their
fee is paid in full (no exceptions).

Senior Day Success!!

On a hot Saturday afternoon, the Tattnall Lady Trojans payed tribute to 3 seniors playing their last home game of their high school careers. At half-time seniors Ali Bridges, Lisa Lee and Bethany Oxford where recognized for their contribution to the soccer program and also got a chance to thank their parents for the love and support they have shown throughout. The day was capped for the seniors with a convincing 5-0 win over Sherwood Cristian Academy.

Senior Day - Saturday, 25th April

The game tomorrow, Saturday 25th April @ Tattnall 3pm Vs Sherwood will be our senior day. Please plan on showing your support for our three seniors, Ali Bridges, Lisa Lee and Bethany Oxford who will be playing their last home soccer game as a Lady Trojan.

B-team game Vs FPD schedule change.....

Due to the 8th grade trip and them not returning till late Tuesday, we have rescheduled the game vs FPD to Thursday, April 30th @ FPD 4:30pm. The Varsity game vs FPD will still be Tuesday, April 28th @ FPD 7pm.

With all the rain we had yesterday, the field was unplayable and thus had to cancel b-team practice. I mentioned that in these events I would post it on this site to make everyone aware.
